READING

Before i came to Yampah i never really had to read a whole book.
my reading skills were very poor, I'm good at reading out loud and have a pretty broad
vocabulary. My Only problem was that i often wasn't comprehending what was going on in the story. 
Every quarter students at Yampah are required to take a novel study, which i think is good because
 most schools leave it as an option. I feel like I'm a stronger reader now because now i stop and
take the time to think about what i've just read in stead of reading on than being lost at the end of a chapter.

Work Ethic

While attending school at Yampah they also allow students to aquire their elective credit through what they call work studies.

When i first stared school last year i was still working at my aunty's husbands auto body shop.
"Strictly Bizness Auto Body"
The shop is located rite outside of Littleton, CO so i would only work on the weekends that i was in Denver.
I also chose to go work at the shop for an internship project.
